APARTMENT ASSOCIATION OF NORTHEAST WISCONSIN

THE AANW IS A NON-PROFIT WHOSE MISSION IS TO SUPPORT AND FACILITATE ITS MEMBERS’ SUCCESS IN ETHICAL RENTAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, AND REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT, THROUGH LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, AND SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS NEEDS OF THE RENTAL PROPERTY INDUSTRY IN WISCONSIN

Our Mission

The AANW is a non-profit association whose mission is to support and facilitate its members' success in ethical rental property ownership, property management, and real estate investment, through leadership, education, and support of the government affairs needs of the rental property industry in Wisconsin.

Our Core Purpose

Since 1995 the AANW has been advocating for both good landlords (rental property owners) and good tenants (our customers).  Creating and hosting various educational events that help rental property owners, property managers, and real estate investors, understand Wisconsin Landlord Tenant Law as well as local, state and federal Fair Housing Laws.  Supporting and advocating for common sense local, state, and federal legislation that promotes the sustainability of housing in the rental property industry.

The AANW Cares Program - Community Engagement Initiatives

One of the ways we promote, participate and engage in our communities is through the "AANW Cares" program.

This program was initially created to specifically target funds generated by our 50/50 Raffle for donation to those in need within our community, it was later broadened to include much more than just our 50/50 Raffle proceeds.

Each year we identify where the various sources of those proceeds will be donated.  Recent beneficiaries of the program include:

      • The Salvation Army (2022 50/50 Raffle Beneficiary)
      • St. John's Ministries - Homeless Shelter (2023 50/50 Raffle and Meat Raffle Events Beneficiary)

Why Become a Member...

Guests are welcome to attend one meeting for FREE to see what AANW can offer to you.  Come check us out, we are certain you will not be disappointed !!

During the meeting, there is always an interesting program of speakers, roundtable discussions, as well as other information sharing and networking.

These have been very informative discussions about many of the questions for which you specifically need an answer.  Meetings generally last one and a half, to two hours.

Before and after the meeting, members and guests can purchase standard rental industry forms, and obtain product and service information provided by our Business Partner members which is displayed on tables in the room.

At all meetings, we believe you will learn at least one thing which will save you more than your yearly dues!  But ask other members yourself in the lively exchanges which occur before and after the formal meeting.

Visit the Red Table.  The red table is where one of our experienced landlord members will be available to answer your questions.  Have a question, but don’t want to ask in front of the audience?  Ask our experts in private.  We will try to advise you to the best of our knowledge.

All General Members and Business Partner Members are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings.
